U.S. Patent No. 10,405,560 B2 (‘560) issued on September 10, 2019, for “Method for Making Coffee Products Containing Cannabis Ingredients.” It was issued to inventor Christopher Bhairam of Garden City, New York. The applicant/assignee is Blacklist Holdings, Inc. of Tacoma, Washington. The specification discloses several embodiments of making coffee with different combinations of cannabinoid concentrates, focused on the C. indica plant. The claims are directed to the manufacture claim of a tea pod consisting essentially of 1 mg to 100 mg of tetahydrocannabinol (THC) oil and 10 to 50 mg of caffeine.
