The disclosure is directed to methods of making coffee containing doses of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) extracted into the coffee pod.  The specification describes the admixing process for extracting and making the THC-infused coffee.  Specifically, solvent extraction is performed using hash oil, with one embodiment using liquid butane (C4H10) and another embodiment using liquid CO2.  Carboxylation is then utilized to convert acid cannabinoid to neutral form.  Both major strains of cannabis, C. sativa and C. indica, are disclosed as sources of THC for admixing with coffee.  There are three independent claims, with CO2 as the extractor and containing 1 – 100 mg of THC and 80 – 220 mg of caffeine.

Methods for coffee-making is well known in the prior art, including U.S. Patent No. 3,607,299, which was issued back in 1971, and is directed to “methods for a disposable pouched coffee product,” and U.S. Patent No. 3,640,727, issued in 1972, for “coffee brewing packet.”  There has even been recent improvements in coffee-making, including U.S. Patent No. 8,623,436, issued in 2014, for “Coffee brewing method.”  However, this is the first issued patent directed to THC-infused coffee.
